Well, I woke up motivated to get in earlier today, so I caught the 7:20 RVL, knowing that there were delays on the NJCL and NEC.  At one point, I checked the transit alerts to see how bad they got.  That's when I found out all RVL's were going to wait 20 minutes.  We got to Newark just as a NY train was pulling in, so the delays were minimal.

I walked into the office at 9, or roughly 10 minutes later than I normally go.  Not a very exciting story, I'll admit.  And I'm sure I've ruffled a few feathers by having a relatively painless commute.

As my name suggests, my time on the RVL is limited, however..........

I had to say something.  They have a hard enough time clearing track number 5 without a power disruption to mess up the morning.  While my delay was a mere 15 minutes, it is the principle of the matter.

I sympathize with the riders that took hours to get to work.  NJT has us behind the 8 ball due to the price of fuel.

Good luck tonight everyone.  It's already started...

NJ TRANSIT buses and light rail lines are operating on or close to schedule.

MBNTN #1003, the 3:37pm departure from Hoboken is operating 17 minutes late.

We had the announcement on the HOB train that if you're going to penn to not get off the train and stick through to HOB and take the 33rd, it would be a lot quicker.

I had a brainfart this morning (I had to go to Midtown first) and still took the HOB train on the CL, well my luck had it.

I took the Hoboken train and the 33rd up, a colleague who was on the NYP train.  I got into the city half hour before she did and she took the earlier train!

And thanks dispatchers for letting those 5 NJT trains pass us -- I'm sure there must have been very important people on board those trains, with very important business.

They were! They're PJC passengers, and they MUST be appeased!  Cheesy

You are correct. We who board at Princeton Junction are more important than the rest of the rabble on the trains, so we deserve the right-of-way to get to our very important jobs.
