About Us
We all know what it’s like to commute. Whether you drive, walk, take the train or bus, or even fly, every commuter can relate. As a professional commuter, I started with a collection of my own observations over the years. It has developed into a full website.
For starters, this isn’t a place to bash the public transportation system, but rather the thousands of clueless commuters that aggravate the rest of us and make up the commuting community. For example, tonight my train was 40 minutes late. I accept that since things do go wrong that are beyond my control. What is more disturbing is the moron next to me that keeps looking at my screen. Yes buddy, I’m talking about you.
That’s what TransitHell.com is all about. The commuter community, not so much the transit system. Now this doesn’t completely let the transit system off the hook. They will be closely reading these posts so if something does go wrong be sure to tell us. Hopefully it spreads some awareness on what not to do on your commute. Any newcomers, read up and pay attention. It just might save yourself from being written up. If you are a longtime commuter, there’s always time to change. For the sake of the rest of the commuting community, smarten up!
You might be asking how this site can help. First off, start paying attention on your commute. You will be sure to notices the most offensive and aggravating actions by your fellow commuters. Once this happens, come here and tell the world about them. Now, this isn’t all about the bad. There are some good commuters out there. There are ways you can also compliment a commuter! Everyone loves a good praise and here’s your chance to make someone feel good. You can also tell us tips. My personal favorite category has to be reporting those annoying cell phone calls. Are people really that clueless to have a conversation on the phone for everyone to hear?
Watch out commuters, there’s an extra set of eyes on you. You don’t want to be written up on TransitHell.com, do you?
Good luck commuting!
