For some reason this morning, I was alert on the train. I’m not sure if it was being mortified by the fact I went ? the morning with my fly open or that the woman who sat next to me had the absolute most nauseating perfume. Whichever the case may be, I witnessed something quite […]

I’m tired of tourists with luggage so large they’d need a crane to lift it to the overhead rack. So they take up floor space or a seat. Or put it on the floor in front of a seat. If I was a double-amputee, I’d have a perfect seat!
I’m tired of Very Important People who […]

When walking on a crowded street at rush hour, please do not stick your arm out at a 45-90-degree angle from your body and flap it around as if you’re powerwalking. What you don’t realize is that on a narrow street, you can take up a whole sidewalk doing that, and people can’t get past […]

Ripper, you have been uncommonly quiet for some time. What’s up? Everything okay?

I was on a train coming back from NYC and the person next to me falls asleep. After we pass New Brunswick, he wakes up and asks me where we are. I say that we are between New Brunswick and Princeton Junction. Then he gets mad at me because I didn’t wake him up before […]

Can someone please tell me the most efficient way to get from hoboken rail terminal to 46th & Lex? I’ve mapped out a few ways to get there just from mta.com, but I’d like some feeback from those who actually walk the beat. I’m moving there from downtown in a month. Thanks.
