Open letter to the arse-biscuit driving a white or cream-colored SUV, truck or other high profile vehicle who banged my PT Cruiser in the Princeton Junction parking lot tonight:
May you develop an untreatable puslike drip from your nether regions.
May your 12-year-old daughter announce she’s pregnant.
May your son announce he’s becoming a hare krishna.
May your spouse […]

Here’s the setting:
Your flight has been delayed 2 hours…15 minutes at a time.
Your flight hasn’t left the origin yet because of mechanical problems.
The flight is going to the NYC area full of people who have the temper of rabbid wolverines.
So naturally, we want sarcasm in the next update which goes as follows:
“i have really great […]

Interesting article in Newsday, if they would have read this website, the article would have written itself.
I used to live in LI and rode the LIRR, I now ride the NEC on NJT. I think NJT is like the redheaded stepchild of the transit system. LIRR riders have nice new cars and speedy TVM’s, the […]

Lucky me, I was on one of the trains stuck under the Hudson River yesterday for 5 hours (the news reports on 3 hours are just plain wrong). It wasn’t nearly as bad as it could have been (again, reports of sweltering heat were not true). The conductor opened all the doors shortly after we […]

New Brunswick police investigating the broad-daylight attack of an NJ Transit passenger outside the city train station have a clear image of their suspects, thanks to a quick-thinking witness armed with a cell-phone camera.

“…NJ Transit spokesman Ken Miller said the problem occurred on Amtrak equipment somewhere between Washington and New York, but it was not immediately clear where…”
Oh yeah, that bodes well for tonight’s rush. I say we pull an all-nighter in the Village. Who’s with me?

OK, I’m a creature of habit. I take the same train every day (7:06 AM RVL in Dunellen) and I position myself on the platform to enter the train at the back of the third-to-last car (favorable exit at Newark to take the Market Street stairs for the switch to a NY-bound train). You can’t […]

Apparently asswater isn’t just on the NJ Transit tracks. I suppose the tradeoff here is that it’s frozen so doesn’t smell until it melts. I guess the drawback is that it could kill you if it fell on you. Imagine being killed by falling asswater? Bummer.

I was on the 11:25 AM M&E train out of Madison today (in the first car) and all was well until Summit, when two women pushing a baby carriage came on board. The baby was in a foul mood, crying and screaming. The two women tried to get the child distracted by yelling Peak-a-Boo for […]
